Who We Share and Do Not Share Your Data With/Third Party Disclosure

Delivering Orders: We share your personal information with third party providers for the sole purpose of fulfilling and delivering orders (example: we share your name, address and telephone number with UPS or USPS)

Processing Payments: We use a third-party service Authorize.net for payment processing. We share your personal information with Authorize.net for the sole purpose of processing payment transactions. We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processor whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. Authorize.net adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. The Green Scissor does not store credit card information on its servers.

Marketing: We do not sell or trade your personally identifiable information to outside parties for marketing purposes.

Spam Protection: We use Google reCAPTCHA (which stands for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) to help prevent spam. ReCAPTCHA is a test designed by Google that helps to differentiate humans from bots. ReCAPTCHA takes a snapshot of what you’re doing on the Site, compares that information to what it knows about bot activity, and uses an algorithm to decide whether you’re a real person or not. We share information with Google when you choose to Submit communications to us through our Contact page. If you are logged in to your Google account while also submitting a form on the Site, Google will be able to collect more information as your logged in state acts as permission for it to do so.
