Where Does IPA Come From?
Isopropyl alcohol, like many other chemical solvents, is made from fossil fuels: petroleum, natural gas and coal. ACS grade meets or exceeds purity standards set by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and constitutes a grade to be used for procedures requiring high purity.
